Another year has passed. I pray it finds you more abundant, less stressful and your life filled with joy, peace and love. My diversion from the usual wordless entries comes just a few times a year. This is the last one this year.
The blue orb we call home - Earth - looks peaceful and serene from space. It's hard to imagine the strife below. It looks so calm we could be convinced that harmony prevails, that Earth is merely a sleeping beauty.
What have we done with the unconditional gift of love that was bestowed to us by a Loving Creator? It is clearly a disgrace. So how do we find unconditional love in a place filled with such discontent?
I was told long ago that to experience this love one needs look no further than animals and children. It is through them that God reveals how life could be, if we would only see.
And so I leave you this year with my final entry - a glimpse into caring and rest. For when we lay our weary heads on our pillows, we should find comfort and joy.
Until such time comes that, indeed, the wolf lies down with the lamb, I bid you more love than you can handle, peace by the truckload and the hope of each new day that gives you the strength to live rightly.
So sit back, pause and relax. Give yourself permission to experience the glory of peace. Know in your heart that if God protects these creatures, what will He do for you?
May your Christmas be merry and when you lay down your head, may you experience the beauty When God Paints for us and, please ...
Sleep In Heavenly Peace
Hi, I would like to use the picture of the dormouse you have here in a book. Do you know how can I get the permission? Thanks, carlo
ReplyDeleteWhat peace this brings to me this morning. I love your blogs and pictures. I would like to use the wolf and the lamb to make Bible bookmarks. Who do I need to credit? ~jewgirl952@gmail.com
